To celebrate the traditions of Lughnasadh (the first harvest of the season) there will be a gathering for a meal and bonfire on Thursday 2 February 2017. During dinner the very knowledgeable Chris Sitka will be making a presentation called Origins of the Great Goddess. Chris’ talk and slides set out archeological evidence of reverence for the goddess among our ancestors in prehistory. After dinner and enjoy the bonfire where you may pay respects to Lugh, the shining one, if you so desire.
Hosted by Caroline Denigan and Geelong Pagans. See the Facebook Event Page for more details.
